Spring Semester 2010 Beijing

Hm.. it's been quite long time since last post.. actually I'm in Korea now.. but, now I want to post about my 2nd Semester in Beijing, because raining outside so I can go out now.. so let post begin..

after a lot of fun that i had during my 1st semester in Beijing, I had a long long 2 months holiday, and it's too long I think.. during that holiday I've been to Summer Palace, the Great Wall of China, World Park, and some place I can't mention it one by one.. Something has happened with me and my relationship actually, but it's ok.. bcoz I'm not really alone there, I have my friends..

After that long holiday, the 2nd semester began... Originally I was in 214班, but then I moved to 221班.. The classmate in 214 is more lively I think, they were very warm.. and then I moved to 221, the situation is a little bit different in many ways.. Is like they really individual in class at first, but lately I found that they are very welcome too.. this 221 班 is quite hard to follow, I think.. but I got a lot improvement in listening, and chinese character.. And what I love at this 2nd semester is I got a lot more friends.. Thanks to "YOU".. I thinks it is the good point of to be move to other class.. you still contact with your old classmates and then gain some new friends in the new class..

In my 221 class there was 5 Indonesian including me, but they are all girls.. Baobao (nina), Yessica, Ichida, Dela.. 1 Thailand architect, He is a very diligent student even though he is not young anymore, we called him Shushu (叔叔).. 2 German, Michael and Yangsen.. 3 Japanese, Kaori, Suguru, and Kazuhiro, and I think you know that most of Japanese are very diligent, yes they are.. 1 American guy, Jeff, our Class Monitor.. 1 Saudi Arabian, his chinese name is Fahede, 1 Iranian, Homan.. 1 Russian, Alexander.. and our teacher, they are all nice actually.. hehe^^

In 214 class, there were Amelia, Singgih, Marshella (Indonesian); Fabian and Phillipe (French), Yuki (Japan), Pashulin (German, I don't know his German name), JT (American)..

Some Korean Friends, but they are not my classmate.. Taehyeon, Jay, Bi, Kang Jiwon, Hyoju, ChuYong, Chengzhe, Ting, I don't know some of their Korean name because it is too hard remembering it.

And at this semester I have went to some places in China, and Beijing. Like Long Qing Xia (龙庆峡), Chinese Movie Museum (电影博物馆), Temple of Heaven (天坛), and Inner Mongol (内蒙古), and some other places..

寒假的时候2010

New semester has began, but now i will post some photos from last holiday (寒假).

After the closing ceremony, I have nothing to do actually, until my friends asked me to join them traveling to Yunnan, it is in the south part of China and I agree to join him. It was really make me tired, but was really fun either. The delicacies are very delicious, it reminds me to Indonesian food. It was sour and spicy, you should try, unfortunately I didn't take a picture any of it. So you better look, and taste it by yourselves. Yunnan is a province, it is quite big province, so we just went to some city, such as Li Jiang, Kunming, Dali, and one more city (I forgot what it's called). I think, life in the South part of China is quite different from the North part, for example, the mobility in south is slower, the people seems live their life more relax than in Northern China (esp. Beijing).

After went to Yunnan, I have a lot of wasted time.. hahaha.. I didn't took any Chinese course, just stay in my dorm, went to Alvin's, Jimmy's and some friend's apartment, go somewhere to find some food.. and so on.. and the greatest part of my holiday is that when me, Alvin, and Bobby went to the Great Wall of China, it was minus 12 degree in Beijing, and it was about minus 20Celsius Degree at Great Wall.. with the wind blow, we can only spend a short of time there, it was really cold. I once went back to Great Wall with my friend, Lolita, and her auntie. Her auntie went to Beijing back then to have Beijing tour. Beside Great Wall, we went to Summer Palace too on the next day. But that day, there were Deffri, Vennie, and Yoanita join us went to Summer Palace. It is a really big place, but unfortunately we weren't at the right time to go there i think, because the lake was dry that day. But it was a great experience though.

Oh I forgot, me and my friends went to Beijing National Stadium (Bird Nest) too. It is big, it was cold there, but not as I expected, it didn't amazed me very much. hehehe... but it was great because I went there with my friends.. for me they are like my 2nd home.. in Beijing they are my family right??!! hehehe..

End of the 1st Semester in Beijing

Finally My First Semester in Beijing already finish.. and there are still 2 months for holiday.. HUrraayYY!! o iya,, Merry Christmas for all of you Guys!! especially for all my friend in Indonesia because recently I can't use Facebo*k here to contact with you guys, and I'm so lazy to call you in MSN... and Merry Christmas too for all my classmate in Beijing.. It's my first time to celebrate Christmas aboard, and it was great, even I just went to the church, and have some dinner at Japanese Restaurant.. hehe^^.. 2010 will come real soon, so what is your resolution for the next year guyz?? Me?? I also still don't know yet.. juz hoping that every things will be better..

Now, I just want tell a short summary of my first semester in Beijing.. I was had a really nice semester, really nice classmates, and really nice chinese teachers.. Besides, I had a really nice trip too, I just have gone to just 4 amusement places in Beijing, which are Tian An Men Square, Forbidden City, BeiHai Park, and 798 (read: qi1 jiu3 ba1).. and in this posting I would like to share some photos that I taken... hello... dah lebih dari setengah taon nih gak pernah posting blog... biasa deh, awalnya sibuk bikin skripsi, mempersiapkan sidang, liburan, dll.. o iya FYI, saya sudah lulus loh even it is not officially yet.. and relieve that finally my GPA reach 3.0.. it was 3.06, paling ngga lebih dari target 3.0.. hehehe.. happy?? pastinya sih... thanks to my final paper advisor Prof. Roy Sembel yang sudah sangat membantu dalam penyelesaian skripsi saya...

Lulus sidang, so what next?? yup setelah lulus sidang gue ambil les mandarin intensif sebagai persiapan untuk belajar di Beijing... dan pada tgl 22 Agustus 2009 kmaren, saya dan teman2 dari ME terbang ke Beijing demi masa depan masing2.. ini foto mereka..

Di Beijing, gue belajar mandarin di UIBE (University of International Business and Economy) atau dalam bahasa mandarinnya: Dui Wai Jing Ji Mao Yi Da xue a.k.a Jing Mao Da Xue.. disini lumayan banyak anak INdo nya... tapi yg gak kalah banyak juga orang Kazakhstan.. Lingkungan di sini gue bilang lumayan enak buat belajar, walaupun agak jauh kemana-mana... Lingkungan sekitar kampus gak terlalu rame karena berada di lingkar 3 Beijing.. kehidupan gw disini bener2 beda dibandingin di Jakarta yang mo kemana-mana ada mobil.. disini gw biasanya jalan kaki, naek bus, naek subway... and kalo kepepet naek taxi.. yang mana sekali buka pintu langsung 10kuai (+/- Rp 15000).. cukup mahal buat gue...

Di UIBE gw masih berada di level cupu yaitu level 1-2... Hiks T_T... and roommate gw dah level 5... WAAAAA... hahaha... gpp... namanya jg baru belajar, masa mo lgsg loncat level... hahaha... kelas gue ada 16 orang... yang terdiri dari 4 orang indo (termasuk gue) yaitu Ko Jerry, Stephany Ira, Yessica, dan gue tentunya... ada orang Meksiko, Namanya Cesar (mandarinnya Henan), 2 orang Kazakhstan yaitu, Ke Jie dan Song Wei (keturunan Korea)... Orang Rusia, Valeria dan Victor.. Orang Mongol, Ai Fu dan He Ping.. Orang Korea, Nan Chen Long dan Yang Hai zhen.. Orang US, Alec... Orang Perancis, Filipun.. dan terakhir orang Vietnam, Fu... ya itu sekilas tentang kehidupan gw selama gak posting2 kmaren.. hehehe..

Too Damn Low..

Oke, posting kali ini saya menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia saja, karena sedang malas berpikir.. Hehe.. Berhubung saya sedang mengerjakan skripsi, maka saya akan mencoba menggunakan kata-kata dan kalimat baku sesuai dengan Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) dan Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD)..

Sebelumnya saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Dwi yang telah memperkenankan saya untuk mengambil foto mobilnya untuk dijadikan karya saya, kemudian Ariyo yang ikut mengambil foto dan memperlihatkan referensi-referensi foto mobil sehingga menginspirasi saya dalam mengambil angle dan mengolah gambar lebih lanjut pada software Photoshop dan Ligthroom.

Oke sesi foto dilaksanakan pada hari kamis 24 Maret 2009, bertempat di sekitar Lippo Village Karawaci. Cuaca hari itu cukup mendung. Sesi foto dimulai pada sekitar pukul 14.30WIB.

Sesi foto dimulai dengan Ariyo yang lebih dahulu memotret mobil Dwi, dengan saya menyetir mobil saya karena sesi foto ini dilakukan dengan keadaan mobil berjalan. Dwi sendiri menyetir mobilnya. Ariyo mengambil gambar dari kabin penumpang mobil saya melalui kaca jendela belakang yang dibuka dan kemudian ia menjulurkan badannya hingga keluar. Kesulitan dalam sesi ini adalah dalam komposisinya dikarenakan dalam keadaan mobil berjalan sehingga diperlukan pengertian 2 supir dan fotografer yang sinkron sehingga dapat mengambil angle yang benar. Karena minimnya pengalaman saya dan ariyo pengertian itu sulit didapat sehingga angle yang didapat hanya seadanya. Kemudian dilanjutkan saya yang mengambil gambar dan ariyo yang menyetir mobil saya.

Rupanya security Lippo Village yang menjaga cluster-cluster disana memperhatikan kegiatan kami dan ada indikasi tidak mengizinkan kami, kamipun menyadari hal tersebut dan menghentikan pemotretan dan kemudian meluncur ke komplek rumah Dwi untuk melanjutkan pemotretan mobilnya tetapi dalam keadaan mobil diam. Pada kesempatan tersebut saya mencoba menggunakan flash, namun hasilnya kurang memuaskan sehingga tidak saya posting foto-foto yang menggunakan flash. Sesi foto kali ini diakhiri dengan makan es krim.

Belitung 12-15 Maret 2009

These photos were taken from my last trip to Belitung.. A couple week ago, Me and my father went to Belitung to pray at my grandfather's grave in Belitung...

The trip started at morning on 12th of March, me and my father were late to get into the plane so we have to wait for the afternoon flight at that day.. finally, we were arrived at Belitung's Airport and I was amazed by the manual baggage system.. wow, They still using it to round the passenger's baggage at the airport.. and you know what, the room to pick up the baggage just only about maybe 6x6meter big.. very small right??

Oke, after we pick our baggage up, we continue our trip direct to my grandfather's grave.. while we were there, the weather was cloudy and the rain started to pour when we are praying and burn some stuff for my grandfather... Not far away from my grandfather's grave, I saw a lot of graves (shown in picture), but they are smaller than my grandfather's grave.. so I asked my father, why does it so small, and there are no carving on their grave.. and He told me that there were no visitor who visits and clean these graves anymore, so the management collect them and separate them from the grave that still being visit by their own family.. other else, there are unknown..


After we pray at my grandfather's grave, we went to Pendem Headland (Tanjung Pendem).. It was about 4 o'clock in the evening, so the sun doesn't drown yet.. and it would take two hours if we want to take a sunset there.. this is the photo that i taken..
so we decided to have some food to eat and go there the day after.. we eat at a small house that sell some food.. chinese food.. my father ordered some unordinary food such as tongue and ear of pork.. but it's not problem for me.. after have eat, we going to my grandmother's house at Tanjung Pandan, West Belitung, which is now are lived by my father's friend.. and thats the recap for the first day, coz after that I was only at that house doing routine activity such as take a bath and so on.. hahaha..

at this day, we go to Headlands.. such as Tj. Klayang, and Tj. Tinggi.. We also go to Berahu Hills (Bukit Berahu).. well I love the scene at Tj. Klayang most of the place I went that day... The white sand and the bluest sky I seen that day was so beautiful.. but my camera can't take the picture perfectly.. Tj. tinggi is beautiful also because of it's big beautiful rock or stone that exist at there... Bukit Berahu, nothing so special in my opinion.. hahaha..

3rd Day..

This day was begun with Us travel to Manggar at East Belitung at 4.30 Am.. I, expect to tried to take a sunrise from the Burung Mandi beach, but as I Slept along the road to there unexpectedly I woke up at Bukit Samak.. I was so not happy, at first.. but I can't blame them, coz i realized that i did'nt give them enogh information bout the place.. oke, my unhappiness were gone coz i got some nice pic which I know that can't be taken from the beach.. this is it..

After have breakfast we continue our journey to some place such as shooting location of Laskar Pelangi (SD Muhammadiyah), Bendungan (I don't know what the name is), Some Vihara (Vihara Dewi Kwam Im, and Vihara Burung Mandi, and Vihara Sijuk) which is located around Manggar..

After go to the Viharas went to the Burung Mandi Beach to have lunch, but there were no restaurant to eat.. so I decided to take some pic and go for lunch...

After have lunch we going back to Tanjung pandan, we arrived at home at 4 o'clock and after take a bath my father suddenly offering me to go to Tj Pendem to take picture of sunset there.. so we go there and take a pic..

Oke after that I didn't take any picture because my Camera out of battery.. hahaha...

Java Jazz Festival 2009, Jakarta Convention Center

Uhuuuyyyy.. feeling so excited for attending the JavaJazz Festival, especially to watch Jason Mraz.. after waiting for three months, the day finally come..

the festival was held for three days in JCC, Senayan.. I went to the festival with two of my friends accompanying me, erico and filipus.. actualy, it was quite exhausting day for us since we were slept very late in the morning for 2 days.. and for your information I was only have breakfast that day.. hahaha.. and the amazing part is I didn't feel any starve feeling till the Jason mraZ show ended.. hahaha.. maybe my stomach is already full with air (masuk angin) hahaha..

Okey.. the day begun with mY girl friends picked me up at my house.. we have nasi uduk for breakfast.. after that we were went to our college, I have to meet my final project advisor, and she would have to do something.. lol.. hahaha.. i forgot what she were going to do that time..

After finish with our business, we went back to Jakarta, and my girl will drop me off at my home, but before drop me home, my girl wants me to accompany her to buy some flowers to make some hand buckets for wedding..

when we're going to my house, my dad called me and told me that there were any vehicle at my house.. crapp.. how would i go to the fest. if there were no vehicle.. later on, i call filipus to pick me up at my house, and thankfully he didn't refuse to pick me..

after he picking me up, we go directly to JCC.. the cars queue quite along infront of the JCC with some pimp (calo, kalo gak percaya coba deh buka kamus.net) trying to sell their tickets show.. but we already have the entry ticket and special show ticket right??!! hahaha..
and erico arogantly show them the tickets..

It's not so hard for us to find a parking space since we arrived there earlier than others visitor. After Filipus' car been parked, we take a walk to the hall, and we met our junior from college (Michael Eric, Awe n his girlfriend, Resia, Hoh, Fifi, and Jessica, is there someone I haven't mention??).. so we walked to the hall.. and erico try to find his friend from his highschool, ... , her name is .... i forget.. later i will ask erico.. so then, after entering the hall we don't know which direction to go to, so we bought some map for 20K Rupiahs.. but you know what, we only get a schedule which we can see from the internet.. But it's quite usefull lately to arrange our plan to enjoy the fest...

at first, we watched 'Tangga' Show..
It is an Indonesian Vocal Group containing two boys (men) and two girls (women).. In my opinion, they were give the audience an attractive show.. They sing their hit songs, and mixing some of the old Indonesian Songs from the 90's vocal group..


After watching Tangga's show we (actually, only me, filip, and erico n his friend) run quickly to BNI hall (the hall where Jason Mraz's show been taken).. we have to queue for a moment to go inside the hall.. so we take some picture and of course I will not appear in any photos.. hahaha.. after we passed the ticketing we run to get closer position to the stage, but what can we say, there were a bunch of people that already get the closer position to the stage.. so we find a place to stand and waiting for the show.. we get there approximately about 1.5hours before the show begin, we were waiting the show standing till we can take it anymore so we sit on the ground.. While waiting we see our friends Gaston and Carin which is standing patiently far front from us.. they get there by 4 o'clock or about 2 hours 45 minutes before the show begin.. Woww..

and the Jason Mraz' show begin with song from his latest album called
Make it Mind--> "Wake up Every One, how can you sleep at a time like this unless the dreamer is the real you..."
the second song he sang is The Remedy (won't worry)--> "I... i.. i... Won't worry my life away.. ay.. oo.. o..."
Than he sang a song that most of audience didn't know... which i didn't know either..
After that he sang Bella luna, the dynamo of Volition, You and I Both, Beautiful Mess, I'm Yours, and finally Butterfly--> "You've got it all..."
He also threw a few polaroid photos for the audience.. I wish I could got that photos..
o yeah.. it was very crowded..

after that we looked for som food, but we can't get any, we met Listya and her boyfriend and then we enjoy some jazz show performed by Humania and Joeniar Arief..

But we can't hold it on anymore, our stomach was hurting us.. so we take a ride to Sabang to have some eat.. at sabang we met Michael Eric and friends again.. they arrived earlier and went home earlier too.. we (me, icho, filip, n listya) still have some conversation for a while.. and then we went home.. that's all that day activity of mine..
